The owner bought the
pool from a house that was about to go into foreclosure. He hired us to
remove the pool, bring it to his house and then reinstall it. We were
able to use a crane for removal, but we couldn’t use a crane to install
the pool because the new location was behind the house and out of
reach. This fall (2009) has been very wet. After the dig we had to set
well points to get the hole dry and then use our equipment to drag the
fiberglass pool to the hole. The whole operation went really well with
no damage to the pool from start to finish, and, yes we’ve done it
before. After we plumb and backfill the pool, install the pool deck and
put up the fence, the new owner will have an installed pool at about
half the cost of a new one.
